Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026: The Global Beauty Supply Chain Converges in a Fully Sold-Out 57th Edition

Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna returns from 26–29 March 2026 for its 57th edition, reaffirming its role as the world’s most influential platform for the global cosmetics industry. Hosted at BolognaFiere, the event is once again fully sold out and will bring together over 3,000 exhibitors from 64 countries representing more than 10,000 brands, alongside an expected 250,000+ professional visitors from more than 150 countries, positioning Bologna as the central meeting point for the international beauty supply chain.
This year’s edition reflects a distinctly global and balanced structure, with 56% of exhibitors from Europe, 44% from non-European markets, and 20% from Italy, underscoring Cosmoprof’s evolution into a truly cross-regional business ecosystem. The show also features 32 national pavilions, developed in collaboration with government institutions and trade bodies, with new participating countries including Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Portugal, and Hungary, further expanding its geographic and commercial reach. Notably, 37% of exhibitors are new entrants, highlighting strong continued investment and industry expansion.
Internationalization remains a core strategic driver for the event, supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and ITA – Italian Trade Agency, which will once again coordinate high-level delegations from North America, the Middle East and Gulf region, Africa, and Asia-Pacific. The timing of the 2026 edition—scheduled outside Ramadan—has also been optimized to enhance participation from MENA markets, enabling stronger engagement, networking, and business development opportunities across regions.
Structurally, Cosmoprof 2026 continues to operate as the only global event that fully represents the entire beauty value chain through its three core divisions: Cosmopack, Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics, and Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon. Together, these segments transform the exhibition into a fully integrated ecosystem spanning ingredients, manufacturing, packaging, finished goods, retail strategy, and professional services.
At the supply chain core, Cosmopack hosts more than 600 companies from 37 countries, covering everything from raw materials and formulation technologies to packaging, automation, and logistics. Key highlights include a strengthened machinery sector with over 90 companies, alongside expanded participation in robotics, digital services, and supply chain innovation. The Fragrances & Ingredients Zone in Hall 20 continues to serve as a strategic hub for olfactory innovation and formulation development, reinforcing the growing importance of scent and sensorial science in beauty.
On the commercial side, Cosmo Perfumery & Cosmetics brings together 1,366 companies from 59 countries, acting as the key interface between brands and global distribution networks. The segment reflects accelerating shifts in consumer behavior, with strong momentum in premium, prestige, and dermocosmetic categories, alongside a rapidly expanding fragrance sector that continues to outperform through premiumization and emotional branding.
The professional beauty channel is represented by Cosmo Hair, Nail & Beauty Salon, hosting 1,079 companies from 51 countries, showcasing innovation across salon services, haircare, nail technologies, aesthetics, and wellness. Programming such as On Hair Show, Cosmo OnStage, and World Massage Meeting reinforces the segment’s focus on skills development, technical education, and evolving professional standards across global salon markets.
Taken together, Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna 2026 reflects an industry in structural transformation. With a global beauty market exceeding €587 billion, driven by innovation, pricing power, and premiumization, the event mirrors a sector shifting from product-centric growth to ecosystem-driven value creation. From raw materials and biotech ingredients to immersive retail, AI-driven services, and fragrance-led brand storytelling, Bologna continues to define how the global beauty industry connects, competes, and evolves.
